DOHA: Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) unveiled the much-anticipated Huawei Mate 20 Series to users in Qatar during a launch event at Doha Festival City (DFC) yesterday. 

The launch took place in the presence of dignitaries and phone lovers from across the country. In addition, there was  a keynote address by Mr. Q himself – Khalifa Al Haroon from I Love Qatar. 

“Huawei takes pride in being a pioneer in On-Device Artificial Intelligence, shaping the evolution of smartphones into intelligent tools that understand users in order to assist them. This series has always brought best-in-class performance and innovation to the mobile phone market, focusing on new chipset technology, processing power and battery performance,” said Ian Li, General Manager of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Middle East.

Huawei’s Mate series is one of its two flagship lines of mobile phones that have consistently delivered true innovation and breakthrough technology like no other. Huawei’s continually leads the AI agenda in the smartphone industry by taking mobile AI to the next level by creating synergy between chipsets, devices, and the cloud to ultimately deliver an intelligent, immersive experience across all user settings and stand out as a global iconic tech brand. 

It is the first brand to offer a chipset with built-in AI and has taken this a step higher with the recent launch of Kirin 980, promising more efficient and power packed performance in its upcoming Mate 20 series.

During the launch event, an informative presentation about the brand’s performance in the region and how Huawei has grown to become the 2nd largest smartphone brand regionally and globally was given by Ian Li. Ian Li unboxed and unveiled the new Huawei Mate 20 series on stage. Designed with the industry’s most powerful and sophisticated process technology, the latest Huawei devices set a new bar by which all 2018 smartphones will be measured. 

Huawei in the centre court of DFC will be open to shoppers and residents of Qatar until November 20, 2018. Doha residents and visitors are welcome daily to learn more about the mate series and enjoy the variety of features that Huawei has to offer. 

The price are Mate 20 Pro QR3299, Mate 20 QR2499 and they are available in Huawei Showroom on Al Nasr St, Doha and other authorised dealers.
