Doha: Red House merged winners in the Chairman’s Polemic Challenge, an inter house debate competition held at Shantiniketan Indian School. The participants debated on the topic “students should be allowed to use tablets in schools”.
Esrat Jahan of Red House was adjudicated the Best Speaker while Noora Hussain of Yellow House got the prize for the Best Rebuttal. Roohiya Murshid of Standard IX-D moderated the debate extremely well.
It was a tough competition during which the speakers debated with great conviction to prove their points. SIS Principal Dr Subhash Nair congratulated the winners as well as the participants.
