The Social Science Club of Shantiniketan Indian School was inaugurated by Muhammed Azharudheen, research scholar in economics. In connection with the inauguration, a seminar was conducted on the topic ‘Gandhism – its importance in globalised world order’.
He urged the student community to follow the Gandhian way of life by acquiring the great qualities of non-violence. “As we live in an era of imperialistic invasion, the slogan raised by Gandhi is still significant. He pointed out the importance of simple living and high thinking, especially in the time erosion of values in all walks of life.
