Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education will hold an educational meeting tomorrow as part of the orientation week which kicks off today with the aim of preparing new teachers at the Training and Educational Development Centre, in conjunction with the first day of the return of teaching and administrative staff to schools.
Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi will give a speech during the meeting addressed to the educational community, reviewing the vision, ambitions, priorities, initiatives and the general directions of the Ministry’s plans and activities for the new academic year, which were formulated according to an in-depth study of the national priorities and goals of education in Qatar.
The orientation week aims to arouse the enthusiasm of all parties to the educational process and its partners, inspire them and shed light on the activities of the start of the new school year and its requirements, including reviewing the achievements and preparations necessary to prepare the school environment to welcome the students on August 21 and the start of the school year.
The educational meeting programme will include a seminar featuring speeches by the assistant undersecretaries of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education who will also answer questions of interest to the educational community.
