Doha: More than 26 million transactions have been completed through Metrash2 since it was launched in 2012 until last year.
Major Ali Ahmed Al Binali, Assistant Director of the Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that last year alone more than 5 million transactions were completed through Metrash2.
He added that currently more than 285 active services are available on Metrash2, including those related to traffic, visa services and others. Metrash2 services are available in 6 languages, including Arabic, English, French, Malayalam, Urdu, and Spanish.
There are over 2 million active users, who can access more than 285 services on the app 24 hours a day, he said while speaking to Qatar Radio today.
As part of simplifying and digitalizing services of the Ministry of Interior, six new services have been recently added to Metrash2. They include some services of Recruitment Applications Review Committee, visa services and establishment registration service.
