Ottawa: Governor-General of Canada H E Mary Simon received, through video conference technology, the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Canada H E Khalid bin Rashid Al Mansouri.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to the Governor-General of Canada, wishing her good health and happiness, and for the government and people of Canada continued progress and prosperity.
For her part, the Governor General of Canada conveyed to the Ambassador her greetings to H H the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and the State of Qatar continued progress, development and prosperity.
