Doha: The winners of the 2025 Shukran Cup - an annual Qatar Foundation sporting event – received their honors during National Sport Day activities at Education City.
Organized by Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Workers Welfare Department and Community Engagement and Activation team, this year’s Shukran Cup – the seventh edition of the tournament – saw 29 teams, made up of men and women from QF’s contracting companies, compete in a variety of sports such as football, volleyball, cricket and basketball.
First launched in 2017, the Shukran Cup aims to highlight the importance of sports in fostering healthy lifestyles within the workforce. As the Shukran Cup continues to grow, it remains a testament to QF’s commitment to employee well-being and community engagement.
