Doha: A state of atmospheric instability will affect the country during the coming days, reported Qatar Meteorology Department in its weekend report.
Easterly moderate wind begins tomorrow (December 13, Friday) and the weather will become gradually cloudy at times with a chance of scattered rain - mostly light to moderate in intensity - that may become thundery at times in some areas.
Chances of rain is expected to improve from Sunday, December 15, to Tuesday with favorable conditions for rain of variable intensity becoming thundery at times in some areas.
Qatar Meteorology Department warned to avoid marine activities during this period as wave height is expected to exceed 8 ft during thunderstorms, that may be accompanied with strong wind, low visibility and hail at times.
The department also urged residents to follow latest updates through its official social media accounts.
