DOHA: As different attractive sales that are being offered under Qatar Summer Festival 2018 are nearing to an end, customers’ turnout at QSF participating malls has increased to avail the opportunity.
Apart from availing various promotional offers, visitors are also enjoying different colourful activities going on at different QSF participating malls. The exciting summer sales are about to come to an end on August 31 with the conclusion of QSF 2018 and shoppers are visiting different malls to avail the attractive promotional offers.
QSF 2018 was launched on June 14 and will end on August 31, 2018. Besides lucrative discounts at malls coupled with hefty raffle prizes for purchases, the malls are also organising other colourful activities to attract the residents.
People are enjoying discounts up to 50 percent on popular brands including attires, electronics, cosmetics and accessories for men, women and children at the participating malls including Al Khor Mall, City Centre, Doha Festival City, Gulf Mall, Hyatt Plaza, Lagoona Mall, Landmark Mall, Mall of Qatar, Tawar Mall, The Gate Mall, Villaggio, Ezdan Mall and Dar Al Salam Mall.
Al Khor Mall is encouraging people to spend QR200 at any outlets of Al Khor Mall and win plenty of prizes. Hyatt Plaza too has many offers for kids. “Join us this summer with the fun filled activities at Creative Kids Garden, where kids imagination come to life, how kids to discover their skills and talents,” Hyatt Plaza said in one post on its Facebook page.
Aqsa, a Pakistani expatriate at Mall of Qatar, said: “Eid Al Adha is around the corner and the summer sales under QSF 2018 have also not ended yet therefore it is a golden opportunity to shop.”
Shalini, another expat told The Peninsula that she and her two friends were visiting Mall of Qatar to avail various promotional offers.
“We are amazed to see promotional offers being offered on some high-end brands. Another plus point of the summer sales is its raffle draws. The last draw is scheduled on August 31,” she added.
She said that she and her friends had spent around two hours selecting clothes, shoes and bags which they wanted to buy. “Now, we know exactly where we can find a good deal.”
Qatar Summer Festival, a yearly event, is designed to offer residents and tourists the best of shopping and entertainment. One of the key focuses of the event is to support local businesses and talents.
Talking to The Peninsula, Mark, a salesman at Bath and Body Works said: “We offer two mega sales in a year; first in January and the other one in June every year. We also have some promotions which continue throughout the year.” “I think that the sales increased by 30 to 50 percent during Qatar Summer Festival this year,” he added.
