Tehran - Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Iran HE Mohammed bin Hamad Al Hajri stressed that Qatari-Iranian ties has seen a great development in the recent period, which saw the holding of ministerial committee meetings that boosted bilateral relations.
His Excellency said in an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's visit to Iran, which is His Highness' second following the one made in January 2020, comes following the visit of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran HE Ebrahim Raisi's visit to Doha in the first Quarter of this year, reflecting the strength of bilateral relations.
His Excellency said that reorganizing the Qatari-Iranian business council will help create new opportunities and enhance bilateral trade between the two countries.
His Excellency also said that the State of Qatar believes in the importance of going back to the nuclear agreement signed in 2015, as the best option for peace and stability in the region, given Iran is a neighboring Muslim country that plays a regional role.
