Doha, Qatar: Ziad Rahim claimed the men's squash championship of the 11th Ramadan Sports Festival 2025 after defeating Ali Mansour 3-1 on Tuesday.
The festival, organized by Aspire Zone Foundation, runs through March 18 and features nine different sports. The competitions are held daily from 9:00 pm until midnight.
In a related context, the round of 16 of the football championship for embassies will start Wednesday and continue until March 18 at Stadium 4 in Aspire.
The Syrian Embassy team will meet the Tunisian Embassy team, while the Malaysian Embassy team will face the Jordanian Embassy team. On the same day, the Mali Embassy team will play the Algerian Embassy team, while the Qatari team will meet the Somali Embassy team.
The matches of the round of 16 will be completed Thursday with the Chadian Embassy team facing the Spanish Embassy team, and the Ethiopian Embassy team against the Eritrean Embassy team.
The Indian Embassy team will play the Kenyan Embassy team and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Embassy team will face the Indonesian Embassy team.
Through its annual Ramadan Festival, Aspire Zone Foundation seeks to create an environment for sports and physical activities that are widely accepted by audiences of all ages and fitness levels.
