Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic has named a full-strength squad for a four-nation tournament in Qatar, which will be played later this month.

The 2018 World Cup runner-up will not face hosts Qatar, but will play friendly matches against Slovenia on March 26th, and Bulgaria three days later.

Qatar will play their matches against Bulgaria on March 26th and Slovenia on March 29th.

The matches are scheduled to take place at the stadiums, where the 2022 FIFA World Cup matches will be played.

The Croatian squad consists of Real Madrid star Luka Modric, Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic and Inter Milan striker Ivan Perisic. Croatia coach Dalic said the tournament will serve as good preparation for the World Cup.

“We wanted to play in Doha in March. It will be a great opportunity to get to know Qatar and feel the conditions that await us – climate, infrastructure, culture. I think that the opponents are tailor-made, two quality teams that will be a good test for what awaits us next,” said Dalic.
