Doha: Alfardan Group was delighted to host The Family Business Council Gulf (FBCG) highly anticipated Gala Dinner and the Annual Summit, which took place in Qatar on the 27th and the 28th of November.
This distinguished event celebrated the achievements of the past year and set the stage for future growth and innovation in the family business community.
The event was attended by prominent family businesses from the GCC, including Abdul Latif Jameel, Al Muhaidib Group, Al Rajhi Group Holding, and SEDCO Holding from Saudi Arabia, Bahwan Group from Oman, Al-Futtaim Group and Al Nowais Investments from the UAE, and Alzayani Investments from Bahrain.
Distinguished family businesses from Qatar were also in attendance such as Al Abdulghani Motors, Al Jaidah Group, Al Mana Group, Al Majed Group, Artan Holding, Salam International and Marzooq Al Shamlan & Sons and others. Attendees included industry leaders, innovators, and influencers from various sectors, who came together to acknowledge outstanding contributions and share insights on the future of family businesses in the GCC.
On the 27th of November the Gala Dinner took place at Letbelah museum, it was an evening of elegance, inspiration, and celebration. The night featured an opening speech by Omar Alghanim, Chairman of FBCG and Omar Hussain Alfardan, the President and CEO of Alfardan Group and one of the founding members of FBCG, in his speech, Omar Hussain Alfardan stated, “It is an honor to host the 11th Annual Summit of the Family Business Council-Gulf here in Doha for the first time, we gather to underscore the importance of cooperation among family businesses in the GCC to ensure their continuity and success across generations.”
