Doha: Minister of Municipality H E Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie met yesterday with President of the Arab Union for the Blind Khalid bin Ali Al Nuaimi.
The meeting discussed the chapter on the technical requirements for buildings to be followed to serve people with disabilities within the Building Requirements Guide in the State of Qatar, which contributes to meeting the needs of this category in society. The Building Requirements Guide in the State of Qatar, which was launched by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, contains planning and design requirements for state buildings, building permit requirements and procedures for issuing them. The second edition of the guide will be released soon, featuring the planning and design regulations and specifications for people with disabilities.
