‘West Meats East’ this November as Canada’s eclectic and diverse cuisine will take centre-stage at Prime, InterContinental Doha The City in West Bay.
Guests are invited to embark on a culinary adventure as they discover Canadian cuisine, expertly prepared by guest chef Bertrand Jeanson, Executive Chef at InterContinental Montreal.
In partnership with the Embassy of Canada to Qatar, official airline partner Qatar Airways, and InterContinental Montreal, this event sets to highlight and bring an introduction of Canadian produce, cuisine, and culture to Doha.
Chef Bertrand Jeanson’s passion for the culinary arts has been a part of his life since childhood, and guided his career working in hotels and restaurants around the world, including in Toulouse, French Polynesia, and more. He was the 4th finalist of the prestigious Meilleur Apprenti de France contest of 1999.
Since February 2018, his exceptional path, creativity and drive have brought new flavour combinations to life in the kitchens of the InterContinental Montréal.
For a unique culinary journey to the great north, guests are invited to try the three-course lunch menu or the three and five-course dinner menus, featuring the best Canadian meat and seafood that are found exclusively at Prime.
A few notable items on the menu include Canadian beef tartar with maple syrup, grilled halibut, cold-smoked grilled beef fillet mignon, Canadian lobster ravioli, and Pouding Chômeur with sweet clover ice cream.

The Canadian menu will be available at Prime from November 18 to 30 for lunch and dinner, lunch from Sunday to Thursday, 12 pm to 3 pm - QR129 for three-course menu, dinner from 6 pm to 11 pm - QR240 for three-course menu / QR380 for the five-course menu.
