The Curve Hotel in West Bay.
DOHA: As part of its commitment towards corporate social responsibility (CSR) and serving community, The Curve Hotel, in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation, has organised a blood donation drive at its headquarters in West Bay.
This humanitarian participation is part of the hotel’s efforts to support and raise awareness in community about public health issues and involve its employees and guests in donation campaigns, for the sake of saving lives.
“This is The Curve’s second participation with Hamad Medical Corporation in blood donation campaigns. We are seeking to motivate our guests and staff to donate blood. We are also working on enlightening the community about the necessity of this philanthropic deed. In addition we are inspiring people of altruism to let others survive. And as much as we are outperforming in hospitality sector, we also do not overlook the humanitarian part and social responsibility.” said Wael Talabani, General Manager of Ezdan Hotels.
The Curve’s staff was very responsive to the drive and many people flocked enthusiastically to participate, as they commended the initiative. They also expressed their pride in helping to alleviate the suffering of many patients looking for blood to recover.
Last year, The Curve Hotel, which is operated by Ezdan Hotels, also coorganised a blood donation drive with Hamad Medical Corporation, and the hotel is collaborating with all public and private institutions in campaigns to raise health and social awareness.
