The second group included QNA, Al Sharq newspaper, Al Raya newspaper, and Al Kass channels.

President of the Qatar Press Center HE Saad bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi expressed his happiness at organizing the tournament, consolidating the role of sports in the lives of media professionals, and activating the center's role in various sports and social activities that bring together journalists and media personnel.

His Excellency pointed out that it is the first time that the Qatar Press Center has organized this tournament, which is considered the most important and famous Ramadan tournament in Qatar, stressing everyone's keenness to continue and develop it and increase the teams participating in it.

Al Rumaihi noted that the center would provide all the needs and requirements of the tournament, including clothing sets, tools, referees, financial prizes, cups, and medals for the winning teams.

The President of the Qatar Press Center thanked the participating teams, the management of the Al Arabi Sports Club, which is hosting the tournament, as well as the Al Ahli Club, which is hosting some of the tournament's matches and events, which is not unusual for these two ancient clubs.

He added that the tournament is held for the 12th consecutive year, where over the years various bodies and organizations have participated in it, such as QNA and all radio stations, TV channels, and both Arabic and English newspapers, in addition to the media sector in other bodies like the Olympic Committee, the Qatar Football Association, and the Ministry of Culture.

He indicated that the competition of this year's edition will be held daily before breakfast, as has been the custom since the start of this tournament, hoping that it will witness a public attendance similar to its previous editions.
