Doha: Vodafone Qatar launched a one-of-a-kind Augmented Reality (AR) game to mark Qatar National Sport Day (NSD). The game enables individuals to engage in exercises from the safety of their homes.
Open to everyone in Qatar, the immersive game that seamlessly blends the real and virtual objects require players to collect as many balls as possible while avoiding getting hit by the rogue characters. Players who get the top three scores will win an iPhone 12, and the players in fourth and fifth place will get an AirPod Pro.
Vodafone will contact the winners on February 10 through their email address used for their app store registration.
“During these exceptional circumstances, we’re delighted to have still been able to engage the public in an innovative and, more importantly, safe National Sport Day this year. Vodafone has historically on NSD each year, showcased how technology can enable an active lifestyle and promote wellbeing. We’ll continue using our digital expertise to promote how you can live a healthy lifestyle using innovative technology,” Vodafone Qatar said in a statement.
The game can still be enjoyed until the end of February by downloading the Vodafone AR App, available on both the App Store and Google Play,
