Ramallah: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met here on Saturday with a Swedish Parliamentary delegation led by MP Marie Granlund.
The meeting focused on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.
Abbas renewed his call for an international conference on Middle East peace on the basis of the Arab Peace Initiative, and for forming a group like the G 5+1 for solving the Palestinian crisis.
The delegation affirmed Sweden's political and economic support for the Palestinian people and their cause.
