QSRSN Chairman Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani
Doha: Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs (QSRSN) in cooperation with AlFaisal Without Borders Foundation (Alf) held a celebration “Happiness Makers” at the society’s headquarters.
On this occasion, Chairman of the board of directors of Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, said that we are pleased to cooperate and joint coordination with Al-Faisal Without Borders Foundation for Charitable Works because of its active and positive role in social and humanitarian responsibility, and in supporting civil society institutions. Organizing this type of positive initiatives and programs contributes to further strengthening the concept of social responsibility between the Society and the Foundation.
He stressed the importance of programs and initiatives being useful and leaving a good impact on all members with special needs and providing a family atmosphere that motivates participants to be creative and contributes to their integration with their family and community surroundings.
For his part, Director General of Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation Abdul Latif Al Yafei, affirmed that the Foundation carries out many community initiatives and programs that are in line with its vision and objectives through the Al Faisal Center for Social Responsibility, including the “Happiness Makers Initiative”, which aims to raise the level of community awareness for individuals Society, introducing the categories that deserve family and societal care, through visits and providing awareness, educational and entertainment programs and workshops within the relevant institutions, whether they are nursing homes, orphans, patients and others to draw a smile on the faces of the beneficiaries in these institutions and integrate them into society.
