Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with a delegation of members of Congress from the United States of America, who are on a visit to Qatar, in his office at the Amiri Diwan this morning.
His Highness received Senator Chris Coons of Delaware, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Senator Michael Bennett of Colorado, Senator Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, Senator Jackie Rosen of Nevada, Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts, and Representative Scott Pete California, Representative Bruce Westerman from Arkansas, and Representative Thomas Malinowski from New Jersey.
During the meeting, they reviewed the friendship and strategic cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields, in addition to exchanging opinions and views on the most prominent regional and international developments.
