Tehran: An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale shook the region of Qaleh Ganj in southern Iranian province of Kerman.
Iran's Seismological Center said that the quake occurred on Monday morning and was epicentered in an area located at 27.67 degrees latitude and 57.83 degrees longitude, according to Iran's (IRNA) News Agency.
It was at a depth of 11 km.
According to reports, the quake caused no damage.
