Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education received the ‘National Influence Award’ during the launch of the new cloud Microsoft data centre in Qatar.
The centre was launched under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in cooperation with Microsoft Corporation.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology H E Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, and President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Microsoft Corporation Ralph Haupter granted the award to the Director of the Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Eng Mona Salem Al Fadhli.
The award recognises institutions that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in adopting digital technology to overcome challenges.
