Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 165 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 222 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 231,349.
Out of 165 new cases, 103 are community cases and 62 from travellers returning from abroad.
The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar till now is 234,093 and there are 2,140 active cases under treatment.
4,893 people were tested for the first time in the last 24 hours (27,057 tests in total) taking the total tests done so far to 2,547,791 tests.
2 persons were admitted in intensive care in the last 24 hours and 22 people continue to receive medical attention in ICU.
There were 9 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total number of patients in the hospital to 84.
455,0682 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered since the beginning of the vaccination programme.
14,869 doses of vaccines were administered during the past 24 hours.
95.4% of those eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, 12 years and over, received at least one dose.

- Adherence to physical distancing.
- Avoid close contact with others, crowded places and confined closed spaces where other people congregate.
