Assistant Foreign Minister H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met yesterday with H E Ambassador Elizabeth Jones, the US coordinator for efforts to relocate Afghans.
During the meeting they reviewed situation in Afghanistan, efforts to resettle Afghans and Qatar’s hosting of the Afghan brothers.
The US coordinator for efforts to relocate Afghans toured the temporary housing for the Afghans, who are temporarily being hosted by Qatar until they reach their final destination.
During the tour, the US Ambassador met with some Afghans in temporary facilities to review their conditions and the services provided to them. She also inspected service, educational, sports, recreational and health facilities.
