Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a telephone conversation this morning with President of Kazakhstan HE Kassym-Jomart Tokayev regarding the developments in the situation in Kazakhstan, where the President briefed the Amir, on the efforts being made to calm the situation and enhance security and stability in Kazakhstan.
For his part, the Amir expressed his confidence in the ability of the Kazakh authorities to overcome this crisis and return things to normal in this brotherly country.
During the call, they reviewed the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them.
