Doha: Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter will celebrate its 6th anniversary on November 14, 2021, in Doha.
Engineers Australia is the trusted voice of the profession and is the global home for engineering professionals renowned as leaders in shaping a sustainable world.
With around 100,000 individual members spread over 120 countries, Engineers Australia is the profession’s peak body being the voice of the profession to advance the science and practice of engineering for the benefit of the community.
Founded in 1919 as the Institution of Engineers Australia, its work has underpinned the progress of the nation for more than a century and continues to shape the future of creating healthy, just, prosperous, secure and sustainable communities. Engineers Australia provides its members with a foundation of history, governance and commitment. From this foundation we build benefits for the profession and its practitioners. We serve engineers, and Australia, with absolute dedication to industry, infrastructure and individual needs.
It also works towards recognition of individual and engineering outcomes through its Chartered members, an array of awards, assessment of competence, accreditation of engineering courses, and support to professionals who wish to immigrate to Australia and make Australia home.
Engineers Australia keeping an eye on Qatar’s dynamic economy, opened its Qatar Chapter in 2015 and has been operating in Qatar since then. Every Year Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter celebrates its anniversary with Australian Ambassador and other dignitaries attending the event.
This year’s event will be organised on November 14, 2021, at 6:30pm onwards at Al Wajba Ballroom at Intercontinental Hotel, West Bay, Doha.
This is a great networking opportunity for those who aspire to become members of Engineers Australia or wish to immigrate to Australia.
