Ramallah: There is a debate within the Isreali Political-Security Cabinet on the possibility of imposing the full siege on the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, Hebrew radio reported.
Yedioth Ahronoth daily claimed that ten shooting attacks against settlers took place last month in the West Bank in which two Isreali were killed, pointing out that the last two operations in Hebron signal an escalation through the use of automatic weapons and snipers.
Since mid-September, 11 Israelis have been killed in Palestinian attacks, while 72 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire, including 45 who Israel said were involved in attacks or attempted attacks.
The other 27 Palestinians were killed in clashes between stone-throwers and occupation forces.
