The Father Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani yesterday watched the races at Qatar Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe at the Longchamp racetrack near Paris. Jockey Thierry Jarnet (left) won the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe on Treve. Treve, owned by H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani (top right and right), beat Japanese favourite Orfevre by five lengths. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani (top left) was also present to witness the races. More than 60,000 fans turned up at Longchamp.
