Doha: Hisham Al Gosaibi (pictured) will continue as President of the Qatar Badminton Association (QBA), the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) said yesterday.
The QOC has also re-constituted the Board Members of QBA, which will be headed by Al Gosaibi, through a decree issued by QOC General Secretary Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani recently.
The term of the Board Members and the President will be for the 2013-16 season.
The Board Members of QBA include Talal Al Mawlawi, Gamal Rasmi, KO George and Ishaq Murtada Al Hashemi.
Al Gosaibi was first nominated as President of the then newly formed QBA in 2011 and since then has been functioning as its head, till his re-nomination.
Al Gosaibi is also the General Secretary of Qatar Squash Federation (QSF) and has had been associated with QSF for the last several years, a press release said yesterday.
