QNA

Washington: US President Donald Trump announced that he prefers to reach a nuclear agreement with Iran, saying that he sent a letter to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei urging him to negotiate.

In an interview with the Fox Business Network, Trump said that he hopes to negotiate, expressing his belief that it would be much better for Iran.

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced last month that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov agreed with his US counterpart Marco Rubio, during a phone call, to enhance cooperation in settling issues related to Ukraine, the Middle East, and regional areas, in addition to preparing for a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
