Increasing social media discussions on Qatar Fuel Woqod petrol stations manipulating the fuel dispenser speed to increase the cost pushed the company to take a stand on its social media.
Qatar Fuel Woqod took to its twitter account to educate its customer saying that discussions on fuel dispenser speed and its relation to cost are incorrect and baseless. "Pressure control key on fuel dispenser regulates fuel dispensing speed and customer waiting time is reduced by increasing fuel dispensing speed." Effectively saying that customer billing can no way be tampered by the staff.

Meanwhile it also warned the motorists against taking any pictures or shooting videos while at the fuel stations. Photography or videography strictly prohibited in WOQOD stations.
