Doha: Qatar Airways (QA) is the official carrier of CHI Al Shaqab International Equestrian which will start here on March 10 at the Al Shaqab International Equestrian Club.
The international equestrian competition, in its second year, will see the world’s top equestrians compete across four different disciplines; Jumping, Dressage, Endurance and Vaulting.
The exclusive equestrian market and strong Qatari bonds with equine heritage ensure to showcase an impressive event. More than 10,000 spectators expected to visit the show, with all elements of the competition being broadcast live across major sporting channels, QA said today.
The Al Shaqab International Equestrian Club, a member of Qatar Foundation, will also host a spectacular 9,000 sq metre plaza containing vendors, restaurants and entertainment suitable for all the family.
QA Vice-President Commercial, Ehab Amin said: “We are delighted to lend its support to this leading equestrian event, which is set to see the elite of Doha society attending to soak up the atmosphere.”
