There was moderate rain in Old Airport area while it poured in Al Gharafa and Al Kharaitiyat according to commuters who were returning home this everning. Weather Department has predicted a “chance of scattered rain to the north.”

Weather inshore tonight until 6.00 am on Tuesday will see partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of light rain at places by evening and cold by night, while offshore it will be hazy and partly cloudy to cloudy at times with chance of scattered rain to the north, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.
The Meteorology Department Warns of strong wind and high seas by night offshore.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed 03 to 13 knot reaching 18 knot at northern areas at times. Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 15 to 22 knot reaching 26 knot to the north.
Visibility will be 4-9 kilometer. Sea state inshore will be 1-3 feet reaching 4 feet at places, offshore it will be 4-7 reaching 8 feet at places.
