Doha: The National Service Academy held the closing ceremony of “Waed Educational” programme in Miqdam Camp, under the patronage and presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.
The Waed Educational programme aims to enhance physical and sports skills, motivation and psychological strength in young boys, in addition to providing them with a number of concepts and values related to loyalty and patriotism in an educational and recreational atmosphere.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, honoured the participating parties in the programme, and took photos with the participants.
The closing ceremony was attended by President of the National Service Academy H E Major General Saeed bin Hamad Al Nuaimi, and a number of parents of participants in the programme.
