Armaan Malik promises amazing night for fans in Doha

Doha: Rising Bollywood singer Armaan Malik is in Doha for his live performance on June 6 to be held at Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena.

The young hitmaker also has a meet and greet with fans today (Wednesday) at Summer Entertainment City (Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre) at 4pm. 

Armaan though jetlagged from his flight from Los Angeles to Doha was in his best of his spirits during a press meet as he said he was enthused about being and performing in the country. "I am really happy to be in Doha as there have been many requests from fans for performance here... I am hoping that everyone in Doha who loves music and Bollywood comes together and have a fun night with me because I guarantee you its gonna be an amazing night," said the singer.  

When queried on about his most difficult song, he replied “The most difficult song I’ve sung to date is Main Rahoon Ya na Rahoon.” Armaan started singing at the age of 5 and has been professionally singing for 13years now. The singer has recently given voice to the character of Aladdin in Hindi version of the movie. 

A popular star among youngsters, Armaan has a huge fan following who tweet to him on regular basis. "A tweet that floored me was by a fan who wrote that "how can you be cute and hot at the same time". I didnt know how to respond to that and replied back that they should probably ask the same to my parents," said Armaan, who was also accompanied by his mother during the meet.  

Armaan is in Qatar with his 18-member team, Doha Waves, organisers of the show, said.

Brother of music composer Amaal Malik, Armaan has given many hit songs like Bol Do Na Zaara, Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon and Main Hoon Hero Tera, apart from giving music to many in Tamil and Telugu as well.

The tickets are priced at Royal (1000), VIP (500), VIP for family (1200-admit 3), Platinum (200), Gold (150) and Silver (75) and can be bought on Q-Tickets. The gates will open at 5:30pm and the show will begin at 8pm.

Doha Waves will be celebrating their 100th show with this event, which is held in association with Tea Time and Prime Sports. They had previously organised concerts for Shreya Ghosal and Udit Narayan.
