Chairperson of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) H E Maryam bint Abdullah Al Attiyah met yesterday with Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs in the Islamic Republic of Iran H E Dr Kazem Gharibabadi. During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation in areas related to children’s rights such as education and protecting children from exploitation, and ways to enhance dialogue between cultures and religions to encourage mutual understanding and tolerance in the region, stressing the importance of exchanging cultural events for promoting mutual respect and cultural diversity.
