Doha: The prestigious annual CHI Al Shaqab 2016 equestrian competition has already made vast strides in the sports world and has attracted attention of a number of international media organizsations around the globe.  

The international media delegation in Doha to cover the prestigious competition which comes to its conclusion today in Doha has conveyed their positive experience at the prestigious event.  Robert Husken, a freelance sports journalist from the Netherlands, expressed his amazement at the event and facilities saying, “I have to say that I am absolutely amazed at the ultra-modern equestrian facilities here at Al Shaqab.” “I have covered high profile equestrian events Aachen, Germany which is meant to be the best in the world, but this equestrian stadium is nothing short of phenomenal.”
Horse and Hound UK journalist, Rachael Hook, “CHI Al Shaqab 2016 is an incredible event. It’s my first time covering the event and I’m so glad to be here. The event and the facilities are unlike any other equestrian facilities I’ve ever seen.”
Hook added, “The riders and commentators I’ve spoken to have said how happy they are to be participating in the event and are equally impressed by the exceptional ultra-modern facilities and how well-organised the event is.’’
Khaled Assam, Chairman of Horse Times magazine, the leading equestrian publication in the Middle East, believes that ‘’Al Shaqab facilities are incomparable to any other equestrian stadiums in the world.” 
“The level of detail that has gone into Al Shaqab is highly impressive. These arenas are without a doubt Olympic standard,’’ Assam added after watching the action on Thursday. The Peninsula
