Doha: Netflix had just released a brand new heist series with a twist, not just in its plot, but also with a unique way of watching it.

Kaleidoscope follows the story of a master thief and his crew in an attempt to execute an epic heist worth $7 billion as story lines focused on themes of "betrayal, greed and other threats undermine their plans."

The series boasts the freedom given to its viewers to watch the show in the order that they prefer. It has eight episodes in total with each one set in different timelines before and after the heist. True to its name, Kaleidoscope episodes are named after various colors, namely, Yellow, Green, Violet, Blue, Orange, Red, Pink, and White.

According to media reports, viewers are promised 5,040 ways to watch Kaledeiscope if the 'White' episode is kept for the finale. Otherwise, viewers can enjoy a whopping 40,320 combinations to watch the series.

Certainly a huge bonus point for rewatchability and a great start to a thrilling guessing game about its chronological order.

Kaleidoscope, created by author Eric Garcia, was released on the first day of this year.

Viewers took to social media to hail the unique concept of story-telling, while some suggest the best ways to watch the series.

Netflix, on the otherhand, has also taken the burden off the hands of its viewers by recommeding some orders.

On its official Facebook page, Netflix said: "I came up with a bunch of different orders to watch Kaleidoscope in so you don’t have to."

Its suggested order include: chronological order, in what the platform think is the correct order, as a classic detective story, as a Tarantino film - a nod to the renowned American film director, and more.
