World No. 1 Sinner to lead star-studded lineup for Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2025

Doha: The Qatar Tennis Federation has announced that Italian sensation Jannik Sinner, the reigning World No. 1, will compete in the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2025.

The tournament, now elevated to an ATP 500 event, will take place from February 17 to 22, 2025, at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, featuring some of the biggest stars in the sport.

Sinner, a dominant force in men’s tennis, has solidified his place in history with an extraordinary 2024 season.

At just 23 years old, he claimed eight titles, including landmark victories at the Australian Open and the US Open, becoming the first Italian to win two Grand Slam tournaments.

He capped the year with his maiden ATP Finals title and secured three prestigious ATP Masters 1000 crowns in Miami, Cincinnati, and Shanghai, further cementing his legacy as one of the modern game’s brightest stars.

This year’s Qatar ExxonMobil Open is particularly significant as it transitions from an ATP 250 to an ATP 500 event, a historic upgrade after 32 years of hosting world-class tennis in Doha.
