Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held yesterday a telephone conversation with Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany H E Dr. Angela Merkel.
During the call, they discussed cooperation and friendship relations between the two countries and ways of supporting and enhancing them, in addition to reviewing the latest regional and international developments.
The German Chancellor expressed her thanks to H H the Amir for the efforts of the State of Qatar in the peace process in Afghanistan and the operations of evacuating civilians from Kabul.
