Doha: The Joint Rainfall Emergency Committee at the Ministry of Municipality has intensified its efforts to deal with the rainfall which hit the country from Monday late night and announced a hotline.
This comes through cooperation between the competent authorities in the municipalities, the unified call centre in the ministry and the concerned authorities in the country.
The rainfall emergency teams in the municipalities, from yesterday morning in cooperation with the competent departments of the Ministry, equipped the work teams, equipment and mechanisms necessary to remove waterlogging one-by-one round the clock.
The mechanism for receiving calls is carried out in coordination with the main operations room of the unified call centre through hotline number 184 in addition to the number 188 of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
