The podium winners at the GMC TriSeries Doha pose for a picture in Doha. Cameron Campbell topped in the adults category at the GMC TriSeries, hosted by Qatar’s leading triathlon club, TriClub Doha. The top finisher in the juniors’ category was Jay Toet. Wendy Mountford was the fastest woman participant. Juniors completed a course spanning a 100m Swim, 2km Cycle and 1km Run. The adults completed a course covering a 500m Swim, 20km Cycle and 5km Run. The TriSeries is designed to appeal to both beginners, who may be participating in their first triathlon, and more experienced athletes who want to build up to the full Olympic-distance event in April 2014. The final two legs of the GMC TriSeries Doha will be held next year, in January 2014 which is a three quarter event covering a 750m swim, 30km biking and 7.5km run. The final round of the GMC series will be held in April over an Olympic-length course covering a 1,500m swim, 40km cycling route and a 10km run.
