Strong wind continue in Qatar; Weather Department issues marine warning

Doha: Strong northwesterly winds continue in the country as it gusts past 30 KT in some areas accompanied with low horizontal visibility reaching less than 3 kilometres.

A marine warning was also issued by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), on Twitter, as sea heights range between 4 to 8 ft. 

It further urged everyone to take precaution and avoid all marine activities during this period.

These activities include the following:
1. Free swimming
2. Boat trips
3. Scuba diving 
4. free diving
5. Surfing
6. Fishing tours
7. Windsurfing
