Tangier: Doha Municipality and Arab Towns Award Foundation (ATA) have taken part in the 62nd session of the Executive Council of the Arab Towns Organization (ATO), being held in Tangier, Morocco, from January 31 to February 3, 2025 The Qatari delegation is headed by Director General of Doha Municipality and Director of ATA, Eng. Mohammed Hassan Al Naimi.
The delegation includes Director-General of ATA, Issa Rashid Hamad and Director of Public Affairs at Doha Municipality, Hamad Al Kaabi. The ATO’s meetings convened to discuss the ATO-affiliated organisations’ agendas in addition to deliberating on perspectives, programmes and plans of each organisation to support towns, as well as Arab local departments in the path toward the sustainable growth. Secretary-General of ATO, H E Eng. Abdul Rahman Hisham Al Asfour, Tangier’s Mayor and president of the Moroccan Association of Presidents of Municipal Councils, Mounir Laymouri, alongside a host of leaders and mayors of Arab towns and municipalities attended the meetings.
