Papa John’s Qatar has taken additional measures across its restaurants for safety of customers, said its senior official yesterday.
“At Papa John’s Qatar, the health and safety of our customers, team and local communities are always our top priority. We appreciate that you place your trust in us and work hard to ensure that the very highest standards are adhered to every day. We also understand that we are all living in extraordinary circumstances and so we have taken additional measures to enhance the procedures already in place,” said Joseph Joseph, General Manager of Papa John’s Qatar, in a press release. “We appeal to all People in Qatar to Stay at home and support the government in this situation. Papa John’s pizza have taken additional measures across our restaurants to enhance the procedure already in place,” he added.
He said that all its food would be delivered with Quality Guarantee Seal. A sticker will be placed on each box as soon as customer’s order leaves the oven and will be intact on delivery as an additional reassurance that the order has been prepared and deliver within minimal contact.
This gives an extra confidence to customers that product has not been touched from the moment it left our oven until customers open the box.
“You can rest assured, all our staff are trained on food-safety awareness and required to frequently wash their hands per prescribed guidelines. Post each hand-wash, our staff are required to sanitize their hands using compliant sanitiser,” Joseph said.
The staff are also required to undergo a body temperature check-up on joining their shift. Staff member registering a temperature greater than 37.5 degrees Celsius will have to report to a doctor instead of joining their shift.
