Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Sharq Media Group Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani
Doha, Qatar: Following the directives of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Sharq Media Group Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, the group decided to donate the revenues from the sale of its four newspapers (The Peninsula, Al Sharq, Al Arab, Lusail) starting today (Wednesday) for a week completely to our brothers in the Gaza Strip.
This is in line with the support of the relief efforts undertaken by Qatar and community institutions, organisations and charitable and humanitarian associations to meet the needs of our brothers in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against them.
Coordination will be made with Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) and through both the Qatar Charity and the Qatar Red Crescent to deliver support to them.
Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani appreciated all parties that responded to the call of duty to provide humanitarian and relief support to the brothers in Gaza, and to stand with them in these difficult moments that they are going through as a result of the brutal Israeli aggression against them.
He stressed that Dar Al Sharq, within the framework of its humanitarian role, has allocated the revenues from the sale of all its daily newspapers, starting today and for a week, to support the brothers in Gaza, through the official charitable and humanitarian associations and institutions in the country.
