Doha: The first round of the Qatar International Jet Ski organised by Qatar Marine Sports Federation (QMSF) will be held on September 20 and 21 at Al Wakra Port, it was announced yesterday.
QMSF officials informed that registration for the event has opened and will close on September 12.
The first round of the Qatar International Jet Ski will be the first event of the season organised by QMSF.
Meanwhile the registration for the Summer Training Programme for children between the age of 9 to15 has also started.
The programme which is a preparation for the launch of the new junior race this season will consist of a First Aid course, Self-Rescue course and Swimming classes.
The new junior race season which include Jet Ski Marathon and Junior Hydroplane.
The Summer Training Programme is conducted by QMSF in cooperation with Qatar Swimming Federation, The Middle East Academy for Marine Science, and the Red Crescent.
Registration can be done at QMSF office in Ras Abu Aboud Area between 8am and 1pm, the federation said.
