Doha: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has announced that the country is expected to be affected by fresh to strong Northwesterly wind from Tuesday, May 2, until the end of the week.
QMD said the wind speed could exceed 30 knots inshore and offshore causing blowing dust at times and rising waves offshore.
The Department issues a marine warning during this period and urges everyone to exercise caution during unstable weather.
