Doha: Qatar KMCC Kasaragod District Committee organised an Eid meeting on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr (small festival). The organisers said that this special gathering was organised to provide an opportunity for the expatriate community to share the joy of Eid with each other and renew friendship.
This event, organised by workers from Kasaragod district, was an example of solidarity and friendship. The Eid meeting became a celebration of unity and love, overcoming the boundaries of locality and removing the differences among the expatriates. Many expatriates participated in the program me along with their families.
World KMCC Vice-President SMA Basheer inaugurated the programme. District President Lukman Talankara presided over the programme. M P Shafi Haji, Adam Kunji Talankara, Sameer, Siddique Maniyampara, Ali Cherur, Shanif Paika, Zakir Eriyal, Abdul Rahiman Eriyal, Mansoor Trikaripur, Razaq, Harris Eriyal, Anwar, Anwar Trikaripur and other district, mandal, panchayat and municipal office bearers and activists participated in the programme.
Several leaders spoke, sharing the message of Eid. The leaders opined that such gatherings are crucial in ensuring the cultural and social survival of the expatriates and strengthening mutual cooperation and unity.
The office bearers opined that the Eid meeting, which strengthens unity and friendship among the expatriate community, has become a platform for expatriates who are wandering in their karma to come together. At the end of the programme, Eid Sadya was also prepared as part of the celebrations.
